Acts 1:1-11 GNBDK
[1] Dear Theophilus: In my first book I wrote about all the things that Jesus did and taught from the time he began his work
[2] until the day he was taken up to heaven. Before he was taken up, he gave instructions by the power of the Holy Spirit to the men he had chosen as his apostles.
[3] For forty days after his death he appeared to them many times in ways that proved beyond doubt that he was alive. They saw him, and he talked with them about the Kingdom of God.
[4] And when they came together, he gave them this order: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift I told you about, the gift my Father promised.
[5] John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
[6] When the apostles met together with Jesus, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time give the Kingdom back to Israel?”
[7] Jesus said to them, “The times and occasions are set by my Father's own authority, and it is not for you to know when they will be.
[8] But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
[9] After saying this, he was taken up to heaven as they watched him, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
[10] They still had their eyes fixed on the sky as he went away, when two men dressed in white suddenly stood beside them
[11] and said, “Galileans, why are you standing there looking up at the sky? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way that you saw him go to heaven.”
Responsorial Psalm, Psalms 47:2-3, 6-7, 8-9
R (6) God mounts his throne to shouts of joy: a blare of trumpets for the Lord.
All you peoples, clap your hands, shout to God with cries of gladness, For the LORD, the Most High, the awesome, is the great king over all the earth.
R God mounts his throne to shouts of joy: a blare of trumpets for the Lord.
God mounts his throne amid shouts of joy; the LORD, amid trumpet blasts. Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our king, sing praise.
R God mounts his throne to shouts of joy: a blare of trumpets for the Lord.
For king of all the earth is God; sing hymns of praise. God reigns over the nations, God sits upon his holy throne.
R God mounts his throne to shouts of joy: a blare of trumpets for the Lord.
Reading II
Ephesians 1:17-23 GNBDK
[17] and ask the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give you the Spirit, who will make you wise and reveal God to you, so that you will know him.
[18] I ask that your minds may be opened to see his light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you, how rich are the wonderful blessings he promises his people,
[19] and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. This power working in us is the same as the mighty strength
[20] which he used when he raised Christ from death and seated him at his right side in the heavenly world.
[21] Christ rules there above all heavenly rulers, authorities, powers, and lords; he has a title superior to all titles of authority in this world and in the next.
[22] God put all things under Christ's feet and gave him to the church as supreme Lord over all things.
[23] The church is Christ's body, the completion of him who himself completes all things everywhere.
Gospel, Luke 24:46-53
Luke 24:46-53 GNBDK
[46] and said to them, “This is what is written: the Messiah must suffer and must rise from death three days later,
[47] and in his name the message about repentance and the forgiveness of sins must be preached to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem.
[48] You are witnesses of these things.
[49] And I myself will send upon you what my Father has promised. But you must wait in the city until the power from above comes down upon you.”
[50] Then he led them out of the city as far as Bethany, where he raised his hands and blessed them.
[51] As he was blessing them, he departed from them and was taken up into heaven.
[52] They worshipped him and went back into Jerusalem, filled with great joy,
[53] and spent all their time in the Temple giving thanks to God.

Ephesians 1:18-19 GNBDK
[18] I ask that your minds may be opened to see his light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you, how rich are the wonderful blessings he promises his people, [19] and how very great is his power at work in us who believe.
In another version, it says:
Ephesians 1:18-19 NABRE
[18] May the eyes of [your] hearts be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call, what are the riches of glory in his inheritance among the holy ones, [19] and what is the surpassing greatness of his power for us who believe, in accord with the exercise of his great might,
In the Amplified version, it is clearly expounded:
Ephesians 1:18-19 AMP
[18] And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people), [19] and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe.
You are an heir of the riches of glory that is in us through the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of God's power at work within us.
You are rich in Christ. Now and Forever.
Do you get that?
I'm currently reading this Chinese novel of an adopted child who’s now become an heiress of her adoptive mother’s media company whom she took upon herself to help grow as her mother's heir. She then married her childhood friend who is the heir of the richest conglomerate of their country becoming the Madam of the most powerful and influential family in their country.
It turned out, she is the real daughter of a billionaire tech business tycoon who has been looking for her even before she was born because her birth mother, preferring to grow her career, hid her from him and gave her away in an orphanage.
Her father then insisted to include her as one of his two heirs even though she insisted she doesn't need to receive any inheritance from him. That she doesn't need it, knowing she already has an inheritance from her mother and the fact that she's married to the richest heir in the country. Just knowing him as her father was enough for her.
She also later found out that her now famous top celebrity mother, who initially gave her away had been looking for her for a long time when her career had been established but couldn't find her because the orphanage closed, now wants to be a part of her life too.
I love it.
You say it's just fiction, right?
Yes. But do you know that's the story of our life in Christ?
Through Him, we are adopted into God's family and now have become co-heirs with Him, given the same riches, power, and authority He has in the heavenly realm.
We also, as the church, are the bride of Christ, Heir to the Throne of Heaven, Lord of Heaven and Earth who was, and is, and is to come, to reign on earth forever and ever.
Talk about riches of glory.
That's who you are and what you have in Christ.
That's the riches of glory that you have as a child of God and a bride of Christ who believes.
You are rich in Christ. Now and forever.
You have the rich and satisfying life that Christ has promised and died to give you. Everything in abundance, more than you expect until you overflow.
John 10:10 NLT
[10] The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
John 10:10 TPT
[10] A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect —life in its fullness until you overflow!
The question is: do you believe?
Your circumstances may not look like it now but don't let it fool you. Don't let your circumstances determine who you are, what you do, and what you have.
You are a child and heir of God, Most High. You are the bride of Christ with the same riches, power, and authority that He has.
Live in that knowing. Live in that end. As Neville Goddard says with his Law of Assumption.
How would you feel already living the rich and satisfying life - everything in abundance, more than you expect, life to the fullest until you overflow?
I would feel grateful and thankful. I would not worry about anything. I will live in confidence knowing all my needs are met and I have abundance for every good work I want to be involved in. I can pursue every dream God inspires in me knowing His power is working in me and around me.
That's exactly what I talked about in my book, Give Thanks and Grow Rich.
This ebook is now available to my readers on my digital shop. It’s a Google Doc so you can easily read it even on your phone. Praise God, thank You, Lord!
We are already rich in Christ but we can still grow rich infinitely.
You are already rich in Christ. Now and forever. You don't have to struggle anymore. You don't have to strive to have the rich and satisfying life you always dreamed of and hoped for.
No hustling for the child of God. Only believing.
That's the only striving I do every day. To remain in Christ and let His words remain in me.
To believe and keep on believing.
To always live in the feeling of having all my dreams fulfilled: unlimited riches, perfect health, loving family, great influence, absolute freedom, significant success, and lasting legacy.
Even when my bank account is almost zero. Even when my body still feels symptoms of illness. Even when I'm still single. Even when my membership is still zero. Even when I'm still tied to my job for income. Even when my family is still broken.
These are just delayed reflections of my past beliefs and assumptions. My new beliefs and assumptions are creating and shaping my current and future reality.
Soon, my reality will mirror my new beliefs and assumptions.
I am a rich child and heir of God, doing what He's called me to do, and having the rich and satisfying life in Christ.
That's the riches of glory of our inheritance as believers in Christ.
