1 Why, Lord, do you keep so distant, stay hidden in times of trouble?
2 In his pride the wicked hunts down the weak, who is caught in the schemes he devises.
3 The wicked is proud of his inmost desires, by his blasphemies the grasping spurns Yahweh,
4 the wicked in his arrogance does not look very far; 'There is no God,' is his only thought.

8 He remembers His covenant for ever, the promise He laid down for a thousand generations,

Dearest Father,
Today, I would like to reflect on the covenant You have with me, the Covenant of increase and abundance and life in all its fullness.
Psalm 105

8 He remembers His covenant for ever, the promise He laid down for a thousand generations,
9 which He concluded with Abraham, the oath He swore to Isaac.
Today is the third day that I embarked on a 90-day experiment to achieve my dream physique and more - spirit, mind, and core power - for just 1 hour a day with short power workouts and no expensive equipments.
It's a program that You have inspired me to offer as an online course for busy professionals over 40 who want to get fit and achieve spiritual, mental, and core power, after 90 days of implementing it on myself.
What's my dream physique? A firm toned body and flat 11-lined abs as in my youth.
I've always had it as a goal but never achieved it since I turned 40. A major part of it is that I'm not able to stick to a program of discipline for a long time. At first, I didn't have the time to spend on a whole lot of workouts what with having 2 online jobs and building my own online business on the side.
But yesterday I realized, it's more about me not being motivated enough to do it over a long period of time. I'm just not able to stick to a program long enough to see results.
Now that You have given me a whole program to develop not only my physique but also my mind, my spirit, and my core power with the intention of sharing it with others to bless them too, I'm more committed to doing it.
You even gave me a name for it: SpiritMindCore Power Hour.
It includes 5 short bursts of power workouts for an hour daily to develop our Mind, our Spirit, and our Core Power on the way to achieving our dream physique and pretty much whatever else we want in life.
I'm so excited to share it with all the people You want me to share it with.
So anyway, this is my third day on the program and one of the Power Workouts is keeping a daily prayer journal, reflecting, for a start, on my ebook, a daily 31-day reflection guide, “I am Blessed! 31-day One Minute Prayer Journal.”
A new hunch:
Being accountable is important even if only to myself. The thought of sharing my results with someone is greatly motivating. So why not have everyone who joins my program write and publish their journal online, if they so like? They can connect to my Substack, in a way forming a cohort of Substacks of people on the quest of achieving not only our dream physique but Spirit, mind, and core power too in the pursuit of our bigger dreams.

Anyway, the third day reflects and declares “I am Blessed! I have a covenant with God.”
And You confirmed it in today's Catholic Daily Mass readings:
Psalm 105

7 He is Yahweh our God, his judgements touch the whole world.
8 He remembers his covenant for ever, the promise he laid down for a thousand generations,
9 which he concluded with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.
You have chosen to make a covenant with me. You. Most High God, Creator of the Universe!
You have chosen to be tied to me in a forevermore-binding covenant sealed with the precious blood of Your dearly beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
A covenant with El Shaddai or El Shadda, the God of More Than Enough, which means this covenant is a covenant of increase and not only that but also a covenant of abundance and overflow - life in all its fullness.
No wonder Florence Scovel Shinn declared, in affirming Psalm 23 about dwelling in the house of God forever, she said, instead:
Mercy and goodness follow me and I will dwell in the House of Abundance forever.
And the God of the House of Abundance made a covenant with me!
Every time I go to Holy Mass, I remember that You have chosen to make a covenant with me and to ensure that it stands forever, You sealed it with the most precious Blood of Your Beloved Son, Jesus Christ!
“Take this, all of you, and drink from it. This is the cup of My Blood, the Blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me.”
Now there is no doubt about this covenant lasting forever on my behalf.
As God is eternal, so will this covenant be.
Isn't it amazing that amidst the only constant in this world - change - there is One who never changes - God - and we are invited to a covenant with Him that certainly also never changes.
It's a no-brainer for me. I choose to be in covenant with God.

Now Your Turn, my dear SpeakChrist Nakama
You are invited to be in Covenant with God most High.
Like Abraham, God wants you to be with Him forever in Covenant so that nothing can take you away from Him unless you choose to do so.
If you do choose to be in Covenant with God, get ready for the ride of your life because God will take you on a lifetime adventure of living in Him, experiencing supernatural health, wealth, love, and victory.
How can you do it?
Give your life to Jesus.
Surrender to Him. In all areas of your life.
You'll see, when He has full right of way in your life, You'll see Him always making a way where there seems to be no way.
So make a choice for Him today as He chose you.
Do you want an abundant, overflowing life?
Choose to be in covenant with God, El Shadda, the God of More than Enough, as He chose you first.
Accept Jesus as personal Lord and Savior.
Live in this covenant daily. Give God personal right of way in your life.
🙏 Let's Pray
For all these to work, you need one thing: a change of allegiance.
If you already know Jesus personally as Lord and Savior, you are already a child of God and a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, not of this world. You have given Him the authority to invade your life with His glory and power. Let's pray for the grace to choose to be in Covenant with God and always be faithful to this covenant.
Dearest Father,
Thank You for the most Precious Blood of Your Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, by which He sealed the new and everlasting covenant You want to make with us, so much better than the old covenant You made with Abraham. I choose to be in Covenant with You too. I give my life to Jesus and surrender to Your perfect will for my life.
I ask this by the power of the Holy Spirit, through the intercession of Mama Mary, in Jesus’ Name.
If you've not yet received Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and you want to, this is your day. He wants you to give Him your life so He can make you His child and you can have everything in abundance, more than you expect until you overflow! Just pray with me:
Dearest Father, forgive me of my sins. Today, I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I give You my life, my everything. Thank You, Father. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Now you’re all set. Let Jesus inspire and encourage you daily as you grow in your faith and knowledge of how God’s kingdom operates.
