Matthew 20:17-28
17 Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, and on the road he took the Twelve aside by themselves and said to them,
18 'Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man is about to be handed over to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn him to death
19 and will hand him over to the gentiles to be mocked and scourged and crucified; and on the third day he will be raised up again.'
20 Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came with her sons to make a request of him, and bowed low;
21 and he said to her, 'What is it you want?' She said to him, 'Promise that these two sons of mine may sit one at your right hand and the other at your left in your kingdom.'
22 Jesus answered, 'You do not know what you are asking. Can you drink the cup that I am going to drink?' They replied, 'We can.'
23 He said to them, 'Very well; you shall drink my cup, but as for seats at my right hand and my left, these are not mine to grant; they belong to those to whom they have been allotted by my Father.'
24 When the other ten heard this they were indignant with the two brothers.
25 But Jesus called them to him and said, 'You know that among the gentiles the rulers lord it over them, and great men make their authority felt.
26 Among you this is not to happen. No; anyone who wants to become great among you must be your servant,
27 and anyone who wants to be first among you must be your slave,
28 just as the Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.'
Dearest Father,
Today, I would like to reflect on this proverbial question, “What do you want?”
Matthew 20:21
and he said to her, 'What is it you want?' She said to him, 'Promise that these two sons of mine may sit one at your right hand and the other at your left in your kingdom.'
What would I ask You if You asked me, “What is it you want?”
Some people just know exactly what they want. And they asked for that one thing when You asked them.
Solomon asked for wisdom to rule your people.
Blind Bartimaeus asked for sight.
This mother went right to the greatest of it all - to have her sons sit at Jesus’ left and right in His Kingdom - the greatest honor and power in His Kingdom.
When I was working in the hospital, I began seriously thinking about what I wanted in life. So I prayed about it.
By that time, I’d already established a lifestyle of asking God first for what He wanted for me, in everything about my life.
I've seen how He worked in my life when I surrendered to Him. And that time I've learned to look to Him for direction for my life.
I came upon this verse:
Zechariah 8:13 NLT
[13] Among the other nations, Judah and Israel became symbols of a cursed nation. But no longer! Now I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing. So don’t be afraid. Be strong, and get on with rebuilding the Temple!
At that time, I felt like a cursed nation: living paycheck to paycheck, not able to take care of anyone else but myself, and still living in lack. I'm not able to give to my family which I so wanted.
Every time we gather on special occasions, like on my Papa's birthday, when asked what my contribution would be, I would always say, in jest, “My presence.” And my father would promptly answer, also in jest, “Your presence is good but I need cash.”
Although these were exchanged in jest, I still hurt with the knowledge that I really had nothing to give.
When I received that message in Zechariah 8:13, I thought, "How can people clearly know that a person is a symbol and source of God's blessing?”
For me, it's when he's able to give to others wherever he wants as much as he wants, without a care for money. Money is no longer an issue for him.
And who can do that? Millionaires.
That's when I started desiring to become a millionaire. I wanted to have a life where I could give as much as I wanted whenever I wanted. That when people look at me, they'll see that God has truly blessed me and because of that I'm able to bless others, that I'm a symbol and a source of blessing.
At that time, the desire to start a business was born cause I realized I can only fulfill that dream when I have put out so much value in the world. And how can I do that? For me at that time, it was through a business.
That was 1996. Throughout the years my desires have changed.
I went from desiring to become a millionaire to desiring to become a billionaire. Cause what's higher than a millionaire? It's a billionaire. People are much more awed when someone is a billionaire.
Then last 2021, I came upon a video about 15 Richest Men in History and they talked about not only billionaires but trillionaires! Solomon was one of them with an estimated net worth value in our time of 1.9 trillion!
Wow, there's something higher than a billionaire? There are trillionaires? That's when I dreamt of becoming a trillionaire. I wanted to truly become God's source and symbol of blessing. That when people look at me they'll say, “Wow, God has truly blessed her.” And imagine how much more I can give with a trillion pounds, dollars, or pesos.
I want to have a business that bless billions of people and produce trillions in profit.
I read this book about R.G. LeTourneau, “Mover of Men and Mountains,” who gave to the work of the Lord 90% of his personal and business income. People call it reverse tithing. I wanted to do the same. I've been giving 10% in tithe and that time reading that, I got the desire to give 90% of my income too to fund the assignments of God in the world.
Now I desire to give to God 99% of my personal and business income while still living well off with 1%.
I also desire to have 1 billion subscribers for my newsletter, YouTube channels, and membership site.
I desire to be happily married with 2 kids, (hopefully more like 7), even now when I'm 48 years old.
And finally, I desire to live up to 120 years old, like Moses, with sight undimmed and vigor abounding.
So these are my 5 life intentions and dreams:
Become a thankful trillionaire who receives and acts on God-inspired ideas that bless billions of people and produce trillions in profits.
Acquire businesses and investments and a great workforce and family, 1 billion SpeakChrist Angels community.
Earn £100 billion per month in recurring residual passive profits from multiple passive income rivers in my business empire and financial dynasty that God has established for me, generating 99% tithe to fund God's assignments in the world in my generation and for generations to come.
Live 120 years old with sight undimmed and vigor abounding, die in peace and be buried.
Live happily married to the love of my life who loves me like God does and I will love as God does, building our family and expanding God's Kingdom together.
Highly impossible dreams, I know. My family always laughs at me when I share these.
But I've learned that nothing is ever impossible with God and nothing is ever impossible for one who believes.
So with all these desires, we come back to that one proverbial question: “What do I really want?”
What it all comes down to is that when people look at me, I want them to say, “Wow, she's really a person God has blessed and she has blessed many others.”
So, yeah, at the end of the day, I just want to be God's source and symbol of blessing.
I don't have to be a millionaire to do that.

So, what do you want?
If Jesus were to appear before you and say, “Child, what is it you want,” what will you answer?
Do you know what you want?
If yes, that desire was placed there by God Himself.
Philippians 2:13 NASB2020
[13] for it is God who is at work in you, both to desire and to work for His good pleasure.
Work with Him to bring that to fulfillment.
Don't be scared if your dream is too big. God is bigger.
If you do not yet know what you truly want, ask God for it. Ask Him what He wants for your life. And he will reveal it to you as he did with me.
Jeremiah 29:11 GNBDK
[11] I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.
God will birth that desire in you - the future you hope for. And when He does, embrace it
Finally, my last tip for you and me is to surrender all. God knows the plans He has for you and me, He knows how to bring it to pass.
It's not even our battle to fight. We can rest in His love knowing He's working everything, everyday, for our own good and the fulfillment of His purposes in us.
We just need to live in Him daily.
Psalms 31:5-6 GNBDK
[5] I place myself in your care. You will save me, LORD; you are a faithful God. [6] You hate those who worship false gods, but I trust in you.
[14] But my trust is in you, O LORD; you are my God. [15] I am always in your care; save me from my enemies, from those who persecute me. [16] Look on your servant with kindness; save me in your constant love.
If you want to live your dreams, desires, and destiny:
Know what you truly want
Surrender everything to God
Live in God daily

If you already know Jesus personally as Lord and Savior, you are already a child of God and citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. Let's pray for the grace to stop chasing after money and start sowing and reaping in the Kingdom.
Dearest Father,
I surrender to You my dreams and desires. You alone know the plans You have for me, plans to give me the future I hope for. I place myself in Your care every minute of everyday. My destiny is in Yur hands.
I ask this by the power of the Holy Spirit, through the intercession of Mama Mary, in Jesus’ Name.
If you've not yet received Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and you want to, so you can be a child and heir of God and citizen of His Kingdom too, pray with me:
Dearest Father, forgive me of my sins. Today, I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I give You my life, my everything. Thank You, Father. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
